A native Russian, Ms. Yulia Zhuravleva is a representative of the Russian "passionate" style of violin playing. Ms. Yulia's musicianship has been internationally recognized by receiving awards from the All-Russian Chamber Ensemble Competition, Maria Yudina International Competition, International Competition in Jyvaskyla, Finland. Since moving to the United States in 2009, Ms. Zhuravleva has performed at several summer festivals such as the Eastern Music Festival, the National Music Festival, Heifetz International Music Institute, Advanced Chamber Music Seminar, and the Modern Early Music Institute. For 9 years Ms. Yulia held a concertmaster position at the Union Symphony Orchestra in North Carolina, has been a member of Roanoke Symphony Orchestra (Virginia) and Worcester Festival Orchestra (Massachusetts).

In 2018 Yulia Zhuravleva was appointed as a Director of Medwin String Quartet and Orchestra Assistant Director at the Humanities and Arts Department of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Ms. Yulia Zhuravleva regularly appears as solo and chamber music performer as well as master-class instructor across the U.S.A, Europe and Russia.
