Alejandro Aldana was born in 1985 and since 2018 is the first concertmaster of the São Paulo Municipal Theater Symphony Orchestra (Brazil). Orchestra Experience: Alejandro has worked with world renowned conductors such as: Valery Gergiev, Herbert Bloomstedt, Iván Fischer, Manfred Honeck, Yuri Temirkanov, Charles Dutoit, Daniel Harding, Pierre Boulez, Gustavo Dudamel, Seymon Bychkov, Michael Tilson Thomas, Christoph Eschenbach, Jap van Zweeden, Christoph Dohnany, Eiji Oue, John Neschling and Roberto Minczuk.

Alejandro was the Concertmaster of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra in Rio de Janeiro from 2012 to 2016. In Germany Alejandro was invited regulary as Stellvertreter Konzertmeister (Associate Concertmaster) from 2012 to 2013 at the Frankfurter Museumsorchester from the Frankfurter Staatstheater. Alejandro also joined the violin section of the Stuttgarter Staatsorchester from 2009 to 2011.

Soloist: Alejandro plays as a soloist every year with the most prominent orchestras of Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. His repertoire
includes the most representative violin concertos from all periods of music.

Chamber Music: Alejandro performs chamber music with different instruments. Among others, he performed a recital with piano at the Big Hall of Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires. In partnership with the principal second violin of OSESP, Matthew Thirpe, is the Founder of Sao Paulo Chamber Soloists, a Camerata with soloists of the principal Orchestras of São Paulo. Conductor: After so many years of experience as a Concertmaster,  Alejandro started playing and conducting his own concerts. Among other orchestras, he conducted the Sao Paulo Municipal Symphony Orchestra, the Campinas Symphony Orchestra, the São Paulo Chamber Soloists, the Orquestra Jovem Alegro of Curitiba, the Camerata Quântica at the Blue Note of São Paulo. Conducting means to Alejandro, an unique way of connection, of musical expression.

Academic work: Alejandro is the violin Professor at the Instituto Baccarelli of Sao Paulo. Alejandro is the violin Professor at the annual “Festival Alegro Youth Orchestra” of Curitiba, Paraná. Alejandro also leads the Concertmaster Preparation Workshop at the “Oficina de música de Curitiba.

Education: Alejandro studied at the ”Instituto Universitario Patagónico de Artes.”in Argentina with Prof. Ljerko Spiller and Elvira Faseeva. He earned a National Professor degree of violin.

From 2007 to 2011, and also from 2012 to 2016 he studied in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik und Darestellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main with Prof. Walter Forchert. He earned two degrees: the first is equivalent to a Master, and the second degree is a Solistenklasse/Konzertexamen degree, which is the highest postgraduate qualification that can be awarded to singers or instrumentalists of a Hochschule in Germany.Alejandro took part in international festivals during his studies, such as: Verbier Festival Orchestra, Schleswig Holstein Academy orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Americas, Lucerne Academy Orchestra. He also participated in masterclasses with Christian Tetzlaff and Julia Fischer.
